Being inducted was a huge personal achievement, and it helped me identify others who had the same focus and intentions I did. I've realized that membership is so much more than academic accolades.

The SFSU Pi Alpha Alpha chapter is sponsoring a career panel on Wednesday, April 9. The speakers will be: · Micki Callahan – Human Resources Director for the City and County of San Francisco · Steve Fields – Executive Director of the Progress Foundation · Jim Porter – Director of Public Works for San Mateo County These three accomplished public administrators will discuss the current employment environment and what they look for when recruiting candidates. They will also offer general career advice and take your questions. The event is open to current MPA students and alumni. Light refreshments will be served.
