Katie Simons is Pi Alpha Alpha's newest intern for the summer of 2015. Katie comes from the Masters of Public Administration program at Oakland University and serves as her local PAA chapter vice president. With experience serving in campus leadership roles, studying nonprofit management, and engaging students in campus life as a graduate assistant, Katie brings passion and enthusiasm to the honor society and hopes to further progress PAA's purpose of advancing excellence. One of her goals of this internship is to connect fellow PAA members with opportunities to give them the tools to be more impactful public servants. After graduating, Katie hopes to continue working in student activities and service learning projects.
